The CF-U1 cradle is constructed from a high-impact injection moulded outer case covering a rugged steel sub chassis. It is the perfect partner for using your Panasonic CF-U1 in any type of situation ranging from a large truck to a small warehouse cart to even an office wall.
The CF-U1 cradle needs only a simple one-handed operation to ‘dock it and lock it’ into the cradle. The spring-loaded clamping mechanism and vibration absorbency features built into the unit mean that the CF-U1 will be retained safely and will operate flawlessly in a wide range of conditions. The CF-U1 cradle is finished with an optional enclosed, guarded bank of port replication with strong cable retention lugs at the base of the unit to ensure reliability.
The CF-U1 Docking Station is designed to allow full use of the UMPC’s internal antennas but also has the option to give connectivity to external antennas which are often needed in a vehicular or other enclosed environment. The reinforced steel chassis leaves a range of solid fixings available for various fitting applications.
Fully tested to give the product a long lifetime, the CF-U1 Docking Station is at the cutting edge of ruggedized docking station design and will increase productivity in the workplace by giving users a fully approved and stable platform to work from.
